If so, would you recommend it or not? Why? What are the best features on it?

I have the CU500 from Cingular. It is a very good phone. It has a very capable MP3 Player, a very good camera, and a good web browser. It uses the MicroSD memory card. Battery life is tremendous UNLESS bluetooth is ON. It has a single annoying habit of playing any MP3 or Ringtone softely and then building to full volume over 2 seconds or so. Like it's warming up.... 8-)

That said, Cingular and LG support by software seems to be missing. Sync'ing with phonebooks seems to be a mystery.

If you need a great phone, with great battery life, get it. MP3 and Camera are a icing on the cake.

If you want advanced SYNC'ing, etc. stay away...

Yes it is a very nice phone. The most distinquished feature is the 3G capability. The LG CU500 is one of a handful of new breed Cingular phones that can download data at near-broadband speed. With that faster throughput, the LG CU500 now lets you enjoy streaming Cingular TV and radio right on your handset. Plus, the LG CU500 can surf the Web at near-broadband speed. Plus, the LG CU500 has Bluetooth, a built-in music player with great sound, a high-quality camera/camcorder, and an expandable memory card slot making it one of the best entertainment phones for Cingular. You can get it for FREE with a new plan from Cingular.
