I think that Rosie's points were very true(and funny!), but she did go a little too far. But never the less, Donald is being a little too sensitive. I don't agree with his decision to keep Miss USA crowned. Nor do I think his decision to sue Rosie is kosher either. I think it's pretty pathetic to let that get to him. He's proving no points by doing that. PEople already have a low opinion of both people. He just made himself look worse. What do people think about Donal suing?

After I heard what Rosie said, then heard Trump's comebacks I was really disgusted. He had the opportunity to rise above it and save face, but he went on an entire personal rant, rave and attack.

I've lost respect for both of them and am not the biggest fan of either but she didn't need to start sh*t for ratings, and he didn't need to shovel sh*t back for ratings. Sad. I'm so glad I don't have cable; I have books.

PS - A footnote: Miss America chick - NOT a role model for my little girl. If she had any decency she would relinquish the crown on her own.

I'm under the impression that Rosie was told to be as obnoxious and as outspoken as possible to get the ratings up. I never watch the View anymore, but when I read things like this, I tune in (It hasn't aired yet here.) Every week, there's press on Rosie saying something outrageous, so viewers are going to watch to see what she'll do next. Pretty soon, it's going to become "the boy who cried wolf" and we'll all know it's another one of her ratings pushes. The View tanked long before Meredith and Star left, so Rosie's bad PR is what's driving the show now.

PS They film in New York, not Hollyweird. We have our own nutcases lol

You need to understand that Donald Trump is known for making his own millions from the ground up. Rosie has lied about that man filing bankruptsy and she should be sued for trying to slander him. Rosie O'Donnell has lost her mind since she came "out" and stated she was gay. There has been nothing possitive come from her since. She used to always talk about helping the kids and being a possitive role model. Not sure what happened, but she is not a possitive role model. I think it's right for Donald Trump to sue her for lying. She is trying to make him look bad and she's telling lies to achieve this. Mr. Trump has a classy reputation to uphold and he's not going to let an idiot like Rosie O'Donnell try to ruin that. Thank you and have a great day.

I'm actually listening to the clip on Rick Dees morning show (Movin 93.9 Los Angeles) right now! Those two are really going at it. He called her unattractive, a failure and is going to sue her. I actually agree with Rosie that Tara should have lost her crown but she should have just left it at that. I'm not surprised that someone is finally going after her because she has been picking fights with people since starting on The View. Now she's finally messed with the wrong person. This is really going to get ugly, you just can't step up to a giant like Trump and think he'll back away. Rosie is in for it now!

Well, I'm no fan of Donald Trump, and personally disagreed with his decision regarding Miss USA. BUT, I did NOT go on television and subject everyone listening to my opinion, I did NOT act like I was the be all and end all of knowledge as to what is proper and correct. Personally, instead of a New Year's Resolution, I'm making a New Year's Wish - that Rosie O'Donnell will wake up and realize that no one died and made her queen, that if she knew half as much as she thinks she does, she'd know twice as much as she actually does, and that if she'd keep her mouth shut, she wouldn't have to dig her foot out of it so often.
And that's my rant for the day.

I can't stand Rosie, never could from the beginning of her original talk show.

I'm indifferent to the Donald.

I think that if Rosie would not have told Donald to sit and spin I could see her points but since she got mean spirited I feel she deserves whatever Donald wants to do for retaliation.

I don't care what comes of this and the only people who have anything to gain from the whole situation is the lawyers.

Rosie O'Donnell is obnoxious with no solid morals. She spews ignorance from her very large orafice and should just do us all a favor and zip it shut. I have not really paid attention to her in the past, except when she was on "Will and Grace", and even then I thought she was starting to annoy me. When she attacked Kelly Rippa, she really got on my nerves. And now, well she needs to get the ol' heave-ho. I really hope people stop watching the "View", so they get a "clue". Oh, and to answer your question, Trump wins this one.

i think Rosie is the one who is going too far. How dare she stick her nose in every thing around. She needs to take a reality pill and realize she is not as important as she thinks she is. She used to be a role model now she is just a celebrity who thinks she is way more important than she is. And all she does is put down people then say how great she is. In the real world we call people like her bullies and pathetic. i guess in Hollyweird it's ok. Used to really respect her until she decided her opinion is the only one out there. Even when i agree with her the way she goes about expressing herself is an embarrassment to women in general, fat women at large (pun intended - and i am fat so i can say that) and gay and bi women everywhere. And yes i am a fat bi woman so i can say she is an embarrassment to those of us who truly are proud of who we are and not just looking to cause controversy and get our faces in front of another camera.

Rosie's ego is getting the best of her, for some reason she thinks she should in judgement on everyone. The numerous remarks she has made on the View are terrible and racial regardless of what she says. And her apologies are totally fake.

Yeah...you are right on both of them. Rosie is a commedianne, that's her trade. But the Donald, well I expected better from him. He called her a "fat azz and a pig face...." Gee, she never had the start in life that he did. I found her funny, and true, but his response was over the top for a guy who believes himself to be on top. He brought himself waaaaaaaaay down on this one.
