Life wouldn't be normal if we didnt have a past
Things would be tough if the days went too fast
People try hard to forget, excluding ways of how they met
It's hard to follow a one way path
Some manage it, it's never a task
Others thrive on a tiny bit more
Their lives want to see all of the doors
Which ones they choose
Which ones they ignore
Depict our lives more and more
Time could bring choices
These choices can be tough
But normallity, somehow just isn't enough.

i like it, i write poems myself ,if the poem is about you it seems like you like alittle more excitement in your life than others, but this PPF, i guessed what it stood for but after i read i'm not exactly sure, could it be ( Past,Present, and Future?)

This poem is trying too hard to rhyme - you seem to have said "what rhymes with past... fast!" then build the next line around that. Poetry doesn't have to rhyme! All it needs to be poetry is a selection of carefully chosen words which tell a story or show an image.

You have a good idea for the poem, that people expect different things from life. You also have a couple of good line "but normality somehow just isn't enough" is great. Perhaps you should take this idea and just write what you think about it, whether it rhymes or not. Then take out all the best bits and put them together and see what you have. Of course it's difficult to tell someone how to write poetry as it's a very personal thing, but try not to set so many rules for yourself.

And PPF is past, present, future!

This poem is a bit confusing and doesn't really have a solid meaning... I'm guessing you were attempting that kind of meaningless beauty that Sophocles was so against. You also focus a bit too much on the rhyming scheme...

If you want a solid meaning with a beat, listen to Gone, Going by Jack Johnson and the Black Eyed Peas.

Johnny wanna be a big star
get on stage and play the guitar
make a little money buy a fancy car
big old house and an alligator

just to match with them alligator shoes
he's a rich man so he's no longer singing the blues
he's singing songs about material things like
platinum rings and watches that go bling but
diamonds don't bling in the dark
he a star now but he ain't singing it from the heart
he ain't doing what he did from the start
and that's putting in some feeling and thought
he decided to live his life shallow
passion is love for material....

of course it sounds better in the song, but it means a lot to me.
