I was wonder what are the average SAT 2:subject test for schools like Stanford, USC, and Cornell.
I got a 1700 on the SAT 750 on Math Level 2 and 600 on Physics
Do I have a shot at getting in or should i apply to smaller schools?

You should apply to any school that interests you. Admissions Boards do take your SAT scores into account when considering you for admission, but they also look at other things...your ethnicity, your work ethic, if you're athletic, if it appears you have a specific aptitude for certain subjects.

You don't really stand a chance as of now. You need to get above a 2000 at LEAST to think about those. Your Math II is fine but you need to retake your Physics and take yet another Subject Test (try Literature or US History).

By the way, those schools aren't really that BIG (at least Cornell and Stanford aren't). ACT 26. As of now, provided that you have good grades in advanced classes and such, you should look at schools like Michigan State, UConn, Auburn, Baylor, Pepperdine, St. Louis, Purdue, UC-Davis, Iowa, Penn State, Marquette, Pittsburgh, and Texas A&M.

You have very less chance of getting into those mentioned. However, you can apply there.
But to be safe, do apply to other 'smaller schools'. Their academics can be equally good.

Let me know if this helped.
