A couple of points;
1st: what country are you in and planning on staying?
2rd: what area do you want to rent?
3rd: what is your criteria, how many bedrooms, garage, garden etc.
Have you tried looking at estate agents sites? Why would Yahoo Answers be the place to look?

Hi, if your from the U.K. the best places to look are in your local paper. Here you will find lots of different house and flat sizes as well as different locations, and are usually in the housing or 'to rent' section.
Another option is to visit an estate agents. Many of these rent as well as sell properties. Most landloards ask for a months rent upfront and a months rent as a deposit

Try Craigslist.org or online classifieds. Maybe even a local realtor can help.
