Look down about 3 or 4 questions. Someone just asked the same thing.

No, because if it has a border, there would have to be soething on the other side. If there were something on the other side, then the universe would not be a universe.
Some think the universe is constantly expanding. But what is it expaning into? Certainly it is not creating the new space to expand into.
For me, the best solution is to just say the universe is infinite and leave it at that. Perhaps someday we will know the truth.

The universe is a finite entity there fore it must have a border.
When you move from air to water,or from water to glass the division between the two is called an interface.
The division between the universe and nothing is a cosmic interface!!

Yes it does...but if you go to that border you will find that it has moved. Even if you could touch that border, which you couldn't by the way, it would be moving so fast away from you. This seemingly simple question is actually an incredibly complex one. It is another if not fundamental reason why Heisenbergs' uncertainty principle makes sense...Good question!!

I think so. But it's most likely not a static one. In other words, I believe it changes constantly, since the Universe keeps expanding continuously.
It is a very dynamic border - it's in constant movement - like everything we are and see. :)

Interesting question sir... Now exactly what do you mean by "Universe?"
In other words, to you, does the word Universe (with a capital "U") mean the Milky Way Galaxy (with a capital "G")?
Or, does the Universe mean to you all of everything that is out there? Example: all the galaxies including our own?
If you mean all of everything, all the galaxies...at this time there is no known boundary. Beyond our Galaxy there are thousands of other galaxies (small "g"). Who knows what is beyond that...

The human mind cannot conceive of or deal with the concept of infinite space. It just won't fit.
