Yes. I'd rather they say Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah than Happy Holidays.

What I don't understand is why they stopped saying it in the first place. They were saying it all that time and no one seemed to have a problem with it and then all of a sudden someone says they don't like it and they stop? It's ridiculous!! If I were them I would have never let ONE person make me stop doing something just because THEY didn't like it. After all, the world does NOT revolve around just that ONE person.

Have a Merry Christmas!!

I don't really mind what people say... i usually say Happy Holidays to strangers because I don't know which holiday they celebrate.

I don't think people should be offended if a store employee wishes you a merry Christmas. They aren't saying it to push Christianity on you....they are trying to be polite and wish you a happy holiday /time of the year.

I wouldn't be offended if a Jewish person said happy Hanukkah to me. I would considerate to be their way of wishing me well during the holiday season.

Altough I don't believe in Jesus, I think Christmas is a gleeful time of the year.

And if more people are happy because the 80 year old Wal-Mart greeter is saying Merry Christmas, then I'm all for it!

Yes, since this is the Land of the Free, and I believe one of our rights is Freedom of Speech. We should be able to greet people however we like, with in reason!! I can't stand the fact that people are able to influence our society with their unreasonable beliefs. We are greeting people to say hello, after all it is Christmas time so we should be able to say Merry Christmas and not feel bad about it. SO I am glad that a big company like Wal-Mart is willing to stand up to the absurd idea that we are offending someone be celebrating what we believe in!!

Yes.

We buy CHRISTMAS trees after all.

Apparently Walmart realized that CHRISTmas is still the reason we have the holiday. Too bad the ACLU isn't driven by public opinion, but rather the opinion of a few elite with deep pockets.

I really don't attribute the monumental significance to this that some people do. It was silly of them to stop saying Merry Christmas and it's no big deal if they start up again. Why does anyone care?

Walmart should 'return' all the jobs they shipped overseas as well as 'returning' all the small communities they gutted

Christmas and the flag are just PR for Walmart
