if your car release smoke,you engine have a serious problem.you need to have it fix.if you don"t fix it ,damage to the catalytic converter,pipes,valves,and muffler. the part that release the fume is called exhaust pipes

not sure just what you are referring to, but you really should have it looked at and fixed, it just might be something that could get you, or someone else hurt, not to mention the environmental damage it may cause, and the elevated operating cost involved. In 1996, or newer vehicles, this is even more important, due to the complexity of engine management systems.
