I am a women and yes, I do believe in zodiac signs to a certain extent. I am an Aquarius and I have found that about 90% of my traits are indeed Aquarius traits. I even have most of the physical body features an Aquarius should have. Even though I am a women and believe, I do wish people would stop with the stereotyping.

I know plenty of men that believe in the zodiac signs. It's not just women and gays. That's stereotyping people that you don't even know. I for one believe in them very much. They hold a lot of meaning and their very real. Were all entitled to believe in what we want to believe, and if you don't believe in it then that's fine, but I don't like when people put down the people that do.

Aquarius is a miscellaneous set of stars all at different distances from us, which have no connection with each other except that they constitute a (meaningless) pattern when seen from a certain (not particularly special) place in the galaxy (here).

Scientific truth is too beautiful to be sacrificed for the sake of light entertainment or money. Astrology is an aesthetic affront. It cheapens astronomy, like using Beethoven for commercial jingles.

I get less sceptical about all sorts of stuff. A rationalist friend thought his dad was a bit dodgy cos he was turning into a mystic and healing animals with laying-on of hands etc. I wouldn't agree with the friend. 'It's written in the stars and every line in your palm...' ('Brother In Arms'). Thought we Scorpio's were supposed to be a bit cynical about the astrology business.

I believe that as the seasons and the tides are affected by the stars then so are we.They twinkle above we twinkle below.

In my opinion its all a load of rubbish!!! The statements made are just simply generalisations that could apply to anybody, but are made to sound very accurate to your own particular life/situation. They obviously are just genralisations, because every horoscope written must apply to 1/12th of the population.
If you honestly believe in star signs, etc then read another horoscope that isn't your sign, and see how accurate it is to yourself...

i feel i have the characteristics of a pisces - and i am a pisces. yet the characterists are very general and could apply to almost anoyone. and in some ways the horoscope readings turn out to be true as well.
