I bought it from a friend so it did not come in a box, how in the hell should I wrap it????

What a great gift!
Can you get a different box to put it in? Get a box to something that is pretty lame, so it will fool him when he opens it up at first. Then, when he opens the box he will be even more surprised!
Whatever you do, make sure that it won't get damaged before he opens it! You can get giant gift bags and whole mess of tissue paper if you want; this might be the easiest way to do it.

Go to a UPS store or something similar and you can buy a box big enough for it. Or, instead of wrapping it have fun with this and make him go on a treasure hunt and give him clues all around the house and hide it somewhere with a big bow on it. That would be fun. Good luck!

--Get a box big enough and wrap it.
--After he goes to bed on Xmas eve, bring the computer out and put a big bow on it along with some very wide ribbon or tinsel as decoration.
--Get an extra large decorative bag from a party shop, to cover the computer with.

go to a furniture store or something they have boxes that they are not using and find one that it would fit in and then wrap the box

Wrap the major components individually, including the CPU, monitor and mouse. Then arrange the presents as it will sit on his desk.

possibly a hat? like the cool type, or a cd, warm cologn(dont recognize a thanks to spell it..haha guy fragrance) or perchance a movie or 2, you would possibly want to get him tickets to work out his fave band possibly.
