I'd rather be single. I've been *taken* and it's lovely while it's working. I've been married (and am currently) and trust me... single is better - lol
*Taken* is good... there's someone there for events and date night and cuddles and sex and stuff... but I just enjoy meeting new people and test-driving relationships I guess :)
*Taken* without being married might be best in some ways because you've got the security of having someone without the full breadth of commitment that marriage implies and yet you don't have to be alone if you don't want to be...
My best relationship... my most fulfilling in every way... was a *taken* one. It only lasted 5 months but it was awesome :)

I rather be taken. I'm finally in love with my girl. I had two boyfriends in the past which I thought I was in love with. 3 years with each one. That turn out that I really never loved them cause I never saw myself living with them. Now, after I met my girlfriend about a year ago. Its all different, I can't be without her. We live together and we share a house and all that goes with it. We have two small dogs together, and we are looking into having a child in the future, when she is done with school. And even bring her mom to come and live with us. I would have never done that with anyone else.
So ya, be taken, but be in love with that person, it will all be perfect. If your not in love or ready to commit be single. Have all the friends you can possibly have, but at the end you need to come home alone with no one to share those moments with. Or if you do, you might not see that person again, cause it was a one night stand.

I enjoyed both while I was either single of married. Now that I have found the love of my life I am very happy to be involved. The last ten years of my life have been absolutely wonderful, and that is because I have had the love, caring and support of a man who truly loves and respects me.

I enjoy being in love. But, I recently got out of a 4 year relationship and I forgot how great it is to be single too. I like them both.

Single, because I would start sentences with stuff like "Ahhhhh" if I were in love. I can think when I'm single, with no limits on my freedom and choice. "Love" is usually short-lived too, it's usually infatuation in most cases.

depends on the quality of the relationship... i'd ratehr be single than in a less-than-fabulous relationship because being in a relationship requires energy , consideration and time. for busy people, why spend it on something you dont think will work out? on the other hand, if its a healthy, caring, interesting relationship, then its worth spending that much time and energy on, its just more important to invest more in myself than on someone/thing else!
