The test said 84% right brain, 18% left brain. It's probably the worst left brain/right brain test I've ever seen though. It asks about the personality and nothing else, and it is well-known that what brain hemisphere is dominant can't be scientifically calculated just by personality. The results will be very inaccurate. I answered 11 questions in a right-brain way, and 7 in a left-brained way, in the second test. This one is A LOT more accurate: http://web.tickle.com/tests/brain/index_main.jsp Oh, and I'm female.

Brain Lateralization Test Results

Right Brain |||||||||||||||||||| 82%
Left Brain |||||||||| 38%
*results won't usually add up to 100% as this test measures each side seperately

Left brain dominant individuals are more orderly, literal, articulate, and to the point. They are good at understanding directions and anything that is explicit and logical. They can have trouble comprehending emotions and abstract concepts, they can feel lost when things are not clear, doubting anything that is not stated and proven.

Right brain dominant individuals are more visual and intuitive. They are better at summarizing multiple points, picking up on what's not said, visualizing things, and making things up. They can lack attention to detail, directness, organization, and the ability to explain their ideas verbally, leaving them unable to communicate effectively.

Overall you appear to be Right Brain Dominant

-----------------------------------------

According to Darwinian theory, optimal evolution takes place with random variation and selective retention. The evolution savvy individual will try many different approaches when faced with a problem and select the best of those approaches. Many historical intellectuals have confessed their advantage was simply considering/exploring/trying more approaches than others. The left brain dominant type suffers from limited approaches, narrow-mindedness. The right brain dominant type suffers from too many approaches, scatterbrained. To maintain balanced hemispheres, you need to exercise both variability and selection. Just as a company will have more chance of finding a great candidate by increasing their applicant pool, an individual who considers a wider set of options is more likely to make quality decisions.

16% Right brain
70% Left Brain

I agree that this is not a comprehensive left brain/right brain test. Do you have to use this one or can you do a search for a more all-inclusive test? This si the only one of these tests that I've ever taken that said I was left-brained, let alone to such an overwhelming percentage. It makes me doubt the test's accuracy as well.

I'm right handed which means I think with the left side of my brain, correct?
I took the test, left side of the brain is 58 percent dominant and right side of the brain 32 percent.
