What I have seen is that alcohol can cause men to not be able to get it up or have an orgasm. It also can affect the sex drive. So there could be many reasons why his sex drive has changed. It could be that it has affected him in these ways or it could be that his drinking has affected him psychologically to where he's more worried about not performing for you in the way he would like. What he needs is to stop drinking but that won't happen unless he decides to. I am an alcoholic and I can tell you that I didn't stop drinking until I was ready. It didn't matter to me that I was hurting my family because I wasn't thinking about them I was being selfish and thinking of only myself. Talk to him, open the lines of communication. If anything you can go to couples counseling. What you have with him is worth fighting for.

Anyone can be "impudent"
Can alcohol cause impotency? Ever hear of brewer's droop? Yes it can make him impotent. He probably feels bad about not being able to do it, so he drinks more to feel better about himself. You need to help him break the cycle before he does more damage than to just his weenie.
Also, don't pressure him for sex. Get him off the bottle and things will improve after he detoxes.

If you meant impotent, yes it can do that.
Unfortunitly, if he is a true alcoholic, there may be no way to get the passion back. Beyond the erctile problems it could cause. He needs to make a choice. Hope it's you.
Good luck-

Yes. Alcohol and alcoholism can have both short term and long term effects on reproductive organs. Beyond the physical effects, mentally he will start (or has started) to desire alcohol more than anything else in his life-including you and sex with you. I suggest a treatment program if you want to help him and your love life.

Get him off the booze....duhhhhh. Alcoholics Anonymous. He prob. will not go till he is ready to admit he has a drinking problem. Most won't. Until then, I wish you luck. Admitting you have a problem is the first step ans WANTING to correct is is important too.

well....if you really mean impudent...the answer is yes....Someone who drinks alot can lack modesty or be very contemptuous towards others.....impudent can mean both of those things......however, if you meant to say impotent...or can't get it up....the answer to that is yes as well.....you can't change him and as long as he is drinking heavily, he will have these issues...good luck
