shark- definately not a large whale- all they eat are krill. Killer whale could possibly be- but all they mostly eat are seals and seabirds. Sharks (the great white) will eat anything, mostly scavenge as well, so is most like the lion.
Bottlenose dolphins- a possibility if you are looking at aggression- they are highly aggressive to females and males of other species (as well as their own) they spend a lot of their time raping other male dolphins to assert dominance- no joke.
I still go with the shark because it has the toughest profile. Lions are considered the toughest and savage- but are relatively stupid and lazy. They usually just intimidate other predators- wold dogs, hyenas, etc and steal their food.
If you come across one at a kill site- you just need to be farther than 3 steps from the carcass and you will be safe - he will roar but go no farther.
BTW- lions aren't kings of the jungle- they are mostly scavengers and live on a savannah. Tigers and leopards are found in jungles. All the males do are protect the territory- females do all of the work with hunting.

The varying predatorial comptencies of the Great Cats aside, the Lion is "King of the Jungle" in part because it's lordly attitude, that it looks after a pride (family), and because it looks so damn cool.
Therefore, a similar animal: good hunter, dignified behaviour, family-oriented and really cool looking would be the Orca (aka, the Killer Whale).

I'm not a marine biologist, so I don't have anything in the way of facts, but I'd think Killer Whales. Great White Sharks would be up near the top of the food chain too.

shark is the most efficient and prolific predator
lions are as much scavengers as anything and live on the plains - the Tiger is the true KING of the jungle for the same reasons i gave for the shark

Orcas (killer whales), because they eat seals (as do sharks), sharks, porpoises (which sharks fear), and baleen whales. Heck, they even eat each other. Don't let Shamoo fool you, orcas rule the oceans blue.

I would dare to say it's the sperm whale:
It´s the biggest predator of its environment, No predator hunts them, don't strive too much for food and other simmilarities
