Depends on how much is in the estate and in what, cash, stocks, bonds, etc. I know of one that took over one year.

You need to speak with an attorney to get that question answered. But having practiced in another state, I can tell you that the variables to that are 1. How many assets there are. 2. The value of the assets. 3. If any of the heirs are going to be jerks. But typically a probate court will keep things moving.
