Social standards never say it is acceptable to do despicable anything. Case in point for you question regarding women and men, look at what happened to Martha Stewart for lying as opposed to Bill Clinton. Talk about gender equality, and this is a great example.

I think so, sadly. It may just be a bit of the feminist backlash - it's considered ok for women to do it because they're taking revenge on men... but hopefully it will even out and people will realise it's unacceptable from either gender.

If it's shifting, it's a slow shift. Many women who do things that men have already done are still looked down upon, but not as bad.

Yes they are indefinitely...I see it all the time.. It makes me worry let me tell ya..Trusting some women is becoming a dream. The difference is that they blame the men......And society believes women. Men dont have the luxury to blame women.

I didnt realise it was unorthodox to do same, everyone is different, some cultures find it acceptable, others look down on it, it all depends on the individual, i myself have been confirmed as a ladette!!!!!!!!
