One could answer both ways. Countries need to prove to the world that they have power, and probably the best way to do so it to create nuclear weapons. However, if used it can be devastating (Hiroshima) Maybe if all countries were to dispose of all their nuclear weopons the world would be much safer, but when is that going to happen? Probably never.

Alas, the Djinn is out of the bottle, Pandora's box is opened wide. As long as countries go to war over any reason, if you have the bomb, you win, unless the other side has it too. Mutually Assured Distruction prevented the USA and USSR from blowing each other up. If the Terrorists get nuclear WMDs however, all bets are off.

because atom boms have huge power and can cause big damage and impact when it being used just look what happen to japan when us drop off the bomb at hiroshima and nagasaki it killing more than 100 thousands innosane people atom bomb also contain radioactive element which is harmful to human body and have its own side effect when these element get inside your body furthermore what is the benefit when a powerful country build a an atom bomb?
