Knowledge is not power, it is a tool.
Knowledge is the tool that helps you get the other things you
mention and you have knowledge whether or not you
acknowledge it.
Knowledge may help you obtain many things and if you get things
to an excess, it can give you a false sense of power.
Power exists only in the mind of those who think they have it.
Hopefully, knowledge will also tell you when the others are
necessary because you can live without money. Not easy, but it
can be done.

You also missed one very important attribute--good health.
Food, shelter and good health are all you need to survive, all the rest is gravy. Knowledge tells you when you have or don't have
those things.

Food/Shelter this are the common need of all the cratures on the earth, Even a small ant finds it and so the great elephant too finds out for himself, Just to differetiate between other creature and human beings we have knowledge. Knowledge is the only thing which can fetch u everything in the life. Without knowledge u even dont know how to write/speak/eat properly, A man without knowledge-What will he do with money ? Just give a beggar a Diamond Sized 10ct. First u have to know which, what and how about money, food , clothing and shelter etc. than u r able to handle all other necessities of life. First of all and in no intended offense, I'll ramble on about this for a moment.

Food, Air, Water,,, are the only basic needs declared for survival. Certainly shelter, and other creature comforts may be peripherals. BTW, and no offense to others here,,,NEEDS may often, only be attained with KNOWLEDGE after the fact,,, which is most often when it happens individually. " I don't have to define HUNGER, it insists itself through natural process, and if I'm not ignorant, but ignore hunger, then I deny what knowledge I may already have regarding the side effects, and consequences of denying a hunger.

Regarding money. As with many others, it is a WANT, not strictly a NEED. "Resourcefullness" too, is power and can allow all manner of survival at various levels, even "free" of the ownership of "cash" WHICH BTW, one never truly "owns."

Knowledge, while a valid acquisition, need not define itself as being monetarily profitable.

Poetically speaking I offer this quote in return.

"There is NO money in poetry" BUT in the same breath, "There is no poetry in money either."

Knowledge, in the strictest sense, should be acquired and used for the self, and even as the "self" may need money to aid in survival, The POWER truly exists in existing.

To be bankrupt in money does not state one need be poor of knowledge.

Dear Doss, If you had knowledge you would put it to use in procuring money, with that money you could build a shelter and so on. Conversely you could sit in a cave or under a tree and others will bring you the things you need. You dispense your knowledge. That is the power of knowledge.
