Although family guy may have its histerical moments, the Simpsons is a better show because it actually has a message to go with the comedy. Family guy's success is based on randomness and doesn't follow through wilth any plot. In addition, the simpsons has consecutively been on the years for approaching twenty years and has never been cancelled. Family guy has already been cancelled once. This should say something. I don't even think it's fair to compare the two, the simpsons are on a much higher level than family guy.

I would say Family Guy is more funny than The Simpsons but The Simpsons is a family series sometimes funny sometimes not.

I like both a lot. But i think The simpsons is a little more PG rated than Family guy which is PG-13
