There are two ways to get rid of cookies.
01. first click the options menu of your internet browser. For a example let's say its windows internet explorer 7. There is a button "Delete browser cookies". Simply click that. If your IE version is lower than 7 you have to go to option menu and select "Delete Cookies automatically".
02. You can go to your system files partion. double click on folders - documents and settings.- cookies.
After going into this cookie folder you can do anything you want to these cookies. But remember to select "Show all hidden files and folders " option in your folder option settings before entering the documents and settings folder.

Click on Tools>Internet Options>Privacy. Move the slider to Medium.
