I love to give hugs! I know on Veterans day in Walmart there was elderly gentlemen with a va hat on and I went right up hugged him looked him in the eye and said THANK U SO MUCH SIR FOR EVERYTHING U DID FOR US. And let me tell you- the smile on his face- and he actually started to cry. I wanted to make him happy but he said they were tears of joy cuz it had been years since he had heard those words. We had coffee and the McDonalds inside the Walmart and it was so sad to hear that when they came back people were actually spitting at them and calling them baby killers. Next thing I knew I was crying. I still send him holiday cards and he does me . He's an awesome man and I never would have known without giving out that hug.

If someoene came up and gave me a hug right now it wouldn't make my day better, I'd just think they were weird or trying to cop a little feel. A SINCERE compliment would be better.
It is funny that people think that hugs make EVERYONE feel better. I don't like people touching me a lot. I like verbal attention, but I don't like people touching me and invading my space! I know there are other people like this too.

You know Jesus said that the greatest commandment is to love God and each other. I think if we gave out more hugs and love this world may start changing. The meanest, deadliest person on Earth is the ones that lack that very thing LOVE. WOW, think about if every christian would love their neighbor and gave hugs to their communities and society. The world will change forever!!

You know I've never thought about it before, but I hug people all the time.I never think about it.I know for a fact that a hug makes a person feel better.When I lost my Mom, a lot of people hugged me and I really needed it,still do.So I will hug adleast 2 people today.....Thanks for reminding me.
