simplify!! We aren't doing so many gifts this year, we have cut down on the frantic shopping and are planning a simple day at home with family. Focusing more on the spiritual meaning of Christmas than the commercial side. We will have a wonderfull feast with family and friends. Taking the time to appreciate each other. Besides the baking frenzy it has been a pretty laid back holiday.

Think of the goodness of God and all He's done for you. Think of all those who are less fortunate than you, and thank God. Think of those who lost their loved ones, and thank God. Think of those who are homeless this season, and thank God. In all things give God thanks. Think of the fact that if God didn't send His son to the world that you wouldn't be able to live and in herit eternal life, because that's what Christmas is about. The greatest gift was given to man. Wow, somebody loved you sooo much they gave His life for you. You're special!!! So just get excited because you're special.

When you're walking around look at people and just smile at them.People don't smile enough.I took a box of candy canes around and passed them out once, along with a Merry Christmas----the smiles that I was given back was a real treat............Give it a try.....

If you are spending it alone, do what I do. I get chips and dips and enjoy those while watching tv, and movies on x-mas eve and then on x-mas day I fix myself a nice, thick juicy t-bone steak and baked potato and watch either x-mas specials or my regular programs.

Merry Christmas!
