yes it is normal. You will start to feel more movement in a little while.

Its not that the baby's activity has lessened, its that your ability to feel him has.
Baby's move a lot in the womb at this stage, often away from the walls of the uterus, or facing backwards (into your body) and against the placenta (which is the same size and some times larger than they are).
Depending on where the baby is laying, and if its a small baby, you can go days and weeks without feeling anything.
Usually by 22-24 weeks the baby is large enough to press through the placenta, and the uterine wall, and result in movement you can certainly feel.
Have your doctor do a doppler check if you're concenred, it will make you feel much much better.

I don't want to say anything that is going to freak you out but you should probably check with your doc on this one.
Most llikely...the baby is moving and you are just not realizing it. If you are busy all day and active..it can be hard to detect the movements. It is also possible that you haven't actually felt it yet and that will start to in the next week or so.
If you have gone to your docotr appointments and they have detected the heartbeat...Then everything is probably just fine.
Have you had your 20 week ultrasound yet?? You would be suprised at how much they are moving around in there that you can see on the ultrasound...but you can't feel it.
Just give your doc a call...that is what they are they for.
In the meantime...don't worry...everything is probably just fine!
Good luck and Congrats to you!

I would say ask your doctor I am 21 wks and I feel my little girl kick every so often..but not as frequently as I would like! But she is a normal size baby this time lol..and I'm use to having little chubbies that have no room..so the doc says thats probably why I felt more with the other two! GOOD LUCK & CONGRATS

When you first feel it, you will nto notice it every day...you might only notice it every few days. You will feel your baby move mroe and more as you get used to what it feels like, and as the kicks get stronger!
To help you feel the baby move more...try drinking somethign (OJ, or somethign with a little caffine in it...yes caffine is okay in moderation...) as this will make the baby move around more (from the sugar/caffine)...and then lay down on your left side and just relax.
When you are up and going about your daily life, it is hard to notice the movements, especially that early on. Once you are further along, you will notice the movements ALOT more!
Also, if you are a first time mom, you are still unsure of what to expect each movement to feel like...so it is difficult to recognize it right now...but liek I said...give it a bit of time...you will notice them more and more.
Good luck and congrats!
