emtrol...it is a nausea med but it wont harm the baby and you can take it up to every 15 min. i carried a bottle in my purse and had one on the head board the first 6 months of pregnancy. it helps i promise. and you can buy it at the drug store over the counter.

Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. I refer to it almost daily right now and I am due Feb 2, 2007. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

Try getting some of those preggie pops(they have ginger-calms the stomach) Eat small meals through out the day.... just snack. Eat saltines-they help. You can try some ginger ale too for your tummy. Talk to your OB about other remedies. I think you can take dramamine if it is really bad. (but that will make you more tired).

Ginger ale, eating saltine crackers and/or chewing spearmint gum helped me with nausea. If you're vomiting all day though, you need to make sure you drink lots of water so you don't get dehyrdated. That'll just make you feel worse.

My top cure for morning sickness is "Sea-Bands", they worked like a charm for me. I think I picked them up at CVS.

Also, ginger tea, and ginger ale, as long as it is made with real ginger, is quite soothing.

I have tried those preggy pops, they didn't do a thing for me.

Good luck.

Ginger root and Pyridoxyl-5-phosphate (an active form of vitamin B6) may be helpful. Ask your doctor for permission to try them.
