Spoiler Alert: if you haven't seen the last episode of this season of Dexter or haven't seen the show but want to, don't read any further. I loved the show Dexter on Showtime, but how in the world are they going to top this season? I mean, his brother was the killer and then he had to kill him to keep Debra safe. What are your ideas for next season? Obviously that other detective is going to be following him since he's the only one who suspects Dexter of anything. But they left no other clues as to what will happen next season, and when in 2007 is it going to be back on? They were too vague (although I realize that this season just got over with though)

I have to first say I am so sad the season is over. I looked forward to watching it every week. And I usually watched each episode several times. It's supposed to come back late 2007. So possibly October? Not soon enough.
I think next season we'll find out more about his real father and the death of his mother. I'd like to find out more about Rudy and his life growing up. Everyone is little suspicious of Dex. And he was pretty sloppy those last few episodes. I think there will be more drama with Doakes. I don't even know if there will be another serial killer in the picture next season. There's enough going on without one. Can't wait for next season!

They were definietly too vague on when it is going to return in 2007 and that makes me mad. Seriously that show is soooo effing great. I love it. I have turned so many people on to watching Dexter. But yes, what will happen to Dexter. I agree with the fact that the other dectective will have to find out about Dexter. I super glad that they didnt have a HUGE cliffhanger. It was nice to end the season with an episode that wrapped everything up. Its going to very interesting next season. Surprising that it was his brother. Something has to happen with dex and his girlfriend and the dad because thats still open. I wonder now if Dexter has emotions and can feel. Cause there were times where I thought he was going to cry. That ending replaced into so stable that I my jaw dropped and that i could no longer sleep that evening. i wish that Rita won't be lifeless, yet whilst she is i decide directly to make certain how Dexter's young ones will manage their mothers dying. and how dexter will advance his young ones on the same time as working and killing. What ever occurs i wish season 5 would be remarkable. If in basic terms Dexter did no longer step out of the van to evade a cost ticket; and in basic terms kill trinity Rita would nevertheless be alive.

I think they're gonna have Debra in on it with him ("she knows, she knows") and Doakes will have to be dealt with. Stuff will come to a head with LaGuerta, the Captain & the new Lt. Hopefully, we'll find out more about Dexter & his family of origin. And I think Rita will confront him about Paul, then decide she loves him for it, and they'll get engaged. And, there'll be a new serial killer for Dex to mess with - has to be.

i FREAKING love dexter! i think he is going to come clean to either Deb or Rita. rita is going to be suspicious now that she found that shoe. i think he is going to have a big problem with doakes bcuz he is soo suspicious of dex . doakes and deb will hook up too i think
