I can only say that its because that's how they are. When we look at someone, we automatically judge them because we are wired that way. Sad but true. It's a way of life.

I have to tell you that you have asked one of the best questions I have ever seen on Answers! I do not know the best answer to your question but suspect that people mobilize hatred in others as a means of gaining some power, like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton or David Duke and the white supremecists do. When I was in the Army, the last great social melting pot, it was easy to see the same goals that we all had, to survive, to get GI bill benefits, to get out and make a life. The media loves to point out strife, contrast and differences and NEVER spends time doing just what you have asked, celebrate the good things people do for each other. I look forward to whatever serious answers this question generates and salute your intellect.

Think about it; if we were all the same, things would be boring. If everyone was good at only one thing, there wouldn't be anyone to fix an important thing that everyone's bad at. Differences are very important, which is why we celebrate them.

I didn't think we were all that great at celebrating our differences. Last I checked someone hates the gays, hates the whites, hates the colours, religion is brain washing, women are bitches and someone is put out that the handicaps get all the best parking at the mall.

very, very good question. it's to bad not all of us can think like you. we are all a lot alike but people would rather argue all the time. it's just in some peoples nature to try and p!ss others off.
