my 4 week old hamster, if CONSTANTLY running on his wheel, he's absolutely addicted to it.. is this normal?? and he also stuffs his mouth with his food..
i haven't had a hamster before so i a bit unexperienced! but they are so cute and easy to mind

Yes, most hamsters love their wheel and will play on it for hours. As for stuffing food in his mouth, this is also normal as hamsters have large cheek pouches, used almost like a 'shopping bag', where they can carry lots of food items for storage. This is because in the wild they need to store food ready for hibernation and for daily use, the cheek pouches allow them to store lots without having to make so many trips. Food is also more scarce in the wild. You will probably find he has a stash of food in a favourite corner, or in his house.
