The best thing for Isiah Thomas could do to fix the Knicks is:

Isiah needs to fix himself first. He's a horrific GM and coach. The Knicks are a terrible team and will go nowhere as long as Thomas is in the organization.

because the knicks owner doesnt care about winning. with isiah as coach the knicks still sell out every game, and are making a profit. in fact theyre the most valuable nba franchise in terms of money and value

hes gotta keep starting David Lee for one, this guy is averaging around 11 points and 10 rebounds a game. and hes came off two strong rebounding games in a row with 20 and 19 respectivly. for two he has to find a set starting lineup, maybe it would b best for the Knicks to trade Steve Francis or Jamal Crawford. they have a lot of talent but theres not enough balls on the court to satisfy them all.

Trade some players away and rebuild. Trade away Marbury, Crawford, Nate Robinson and Jerome James to free up some cap room. Then get draft picks because drafting players is the only thing Isaiah can do decently. After Isaiah drafts the rookies next year, fire him and get a decent coach.
