What do you get up to in the summer ?

I'm a novelist. Since I tend to spend most of my time indoors to avoid the heat, I write most of my new material in the summer and spend the balance of the year tearing my hair out over revising it.

If you mean what awakens you in the summer, my answer is the sun shining through my window and the lovely sound of birds singing.
