I have been seeing these bumper stickers all over the place. They are white ovals with bold black letters in them. Sometimes they say words like “City” and other times they are just 3 letters that don’t form any word. Does anyone know what these bumper stickers are for or what they mean?

Thanks! And Happy Holidays!

These are popular in Europe. The 3 letters usually indicate what country in Europe a person is from.

They can stand for just about anything. I have a couple myself. OBX which stands for Outter Banks in NC. I also SCO which stands for Scotland. Just about every place or organization seems to have one these days. Sometimes under the big bold letters the sticker will have the actual meaning written underneath in small print.

Those stickers like "OBX" stands for the Outer Banks- beach area in North Carolina. They are people's weak attempt at letting people know about their bourgie/ yuppie travels.

Its a European thing that has crossed the oceans!!

When I lived in Southern california they had those stickers. I think it was for the cities that you lived in. Irvine was IRV Anaheim was ANA, Santa Ana was STA and Newport Beach was NPB. These were all cities in Orange County, CA
