Yes, despite him being a hopeless waaster i fear she would have faired worse had you not. Elizabeth did not need to know soon, shesecretly loved how you did it without needing to show off! I think the needle point course has nothing to do with this, maybe you simply no longer pique her interest! But dont worry, you can have me instead

I thought the point was to kill the scandel so that the way would be clear for you to woo Ms. Bennett and see if you could get her to marry you without making her feel obligated by telling her what you did for her family.

I think you were absolutely right. And if you would have told Miss Elizabeth your plan, she would have opposed it. Plus, finding out what you did after it happened made her fall for you all the more!
