I mean come on now. . . .everone with any sanity knows Notre Dame is a putrid joke and fraud of a team that in no way, shape or form deserves to be in a BCS bowl! They are in this bowl because of HYPE and nothing else!!! Who cares if they were good in the 40's. . . Navy was good in the 40's and they aren't in a BCS bowl. And don't tell me Brady Quinn this or Bardy Quinn that!! Against the good teams he was not even average so put that crap to rest!!! My nephew who plays pop warner football could put up big numbers against Army, Navy, Air Force, Stanford and the other pansies on Notre Dame's Schedule! So. . that being said. . . let's be conservative and say the halftime score will be LSU 34 and Notre Dame 13. . . . what percentage of Notre Dame fans will watch the second half. . . . I know all non Notre Dame fans will watch because they want to put this joke of a team to rest!

I agree completely with you but Notre Dame is the college version of "America's Team". You either love them or hate them. It's big revenue for any bowl committee to sign them to a game. Notre Dame alumni and fans are vast and the networks know that good or bad they will draw a big audience. LSU will kill the Irish there is no doubt but the money the network will make overshadowed even the winner of the game. That's just the way it works.

I'm as big of an LSU fan that you can find but I disagree that Brady Quinn is less of a quarterback than Troy Smith. Yes, LSU will win in convincing fashion, but they would have been able to do the same thing against Ohio State. A few years from now Brady Quinn will be leading the NFL in passing and Troy Smith will be somebodies backup, maybe even Brady Quinns'. Most of them will continue to watch the game hoping for a second half miracle.

With about 2 minutes gone in the first quarter, Glen Dorsey will bull rush through the anemic O-line of ND and break Brady Queer leg. After this happens I assume that all ND fans will turn off their TVs and cry like the misguided children they are. The second half of the game Jamarcus Russell will torch the ND defense (or lack there of) for 388 yards passing with 5 TD's. Final Score LSU 68 ND 3. Go Tigers!!!

well, i think the whole countries finally realized that Quinn and the irish are overrated. I mean he did finish third in the heisman and voted that LSU will win in a blow out. Charlie Weis is the most overrated coach in college. He gets smashed in the big games but is considered, great for beating the air force?!?!?! WTF mate. Plus, notre dames biggest problem is that they cant deal with any speed. And ironically LSU is probably the fastest team in the country.

I plan on watching the entire game. Not because I am a Notre Lame fan, because I think they are soo over rated that it will be very entertaining to watch them get torched. Weiss is the most over rated coach in football. They have yet to win a game against a major program.

I just want to see if Brady Quinn can actually play well in a big game for once in his life. He is so overrated because of his height and that he plays with Charlie Weis (big deal). Meanwhile Troy Smith is the best QB entering the NFL draft and he's getting no love at all.
