It'll work on a normal TV, but of course it won't work as well in the sense that you'll always get better resolution on an HDTV.

You can use a normal TV. I wouldn't say it would work JUST as well. Since most games are HD compatiable, and actually were designed for HD. So yeah you can play them on a regular TV and they work alright. You won't get the best quality out of it but it is fine in most games. Now Dead Rising it makes it hard to read the text in most cases but hey they talk what is written for the most part.

no it does not... I have one and I do not own an HDTV and mine works just fine.. The only thing HDTV does is makes it look more like your actually in the game but it doesnt affect performance

Of course it works with whatever tv you plug it into. THe graphics are what you notice as you get better resolution. HD is obviously the best resolution as of yet.

It used to be like that, but they recently upgraded there system. If you have one of the new ones, then no, it will work the same and there will be only a slight difference. If you have one of the old ones, then yes.
