How do you get your own music on iTunes so that others can buy and download it?

Question: I play in a band, and we want to get our music 'out there'. How do you get your own music onto iTunes, Napster, etc.? Thanks to all answerers!

I'm not sure about music, you may have to be represented by a label to get your songs on... but you could submit them as a podcast.
