Hmmmm my son is 16 and he went out yesterday and shoveleved snow and made over $300 and he is out right now doing the same thing. Then he wants me to take him into town to go Christmas shopping and lunch out just mom and him! He also gets really bored when on school break and he has a computer- the Xbox 360 and every other game system ever made ( PS3 in under the tree) his own tv computer and blah blah blah........so today its mom and son day! We r going Christmas shopping- out to lunch and we are going to come home and play Yahtzee Attack and Uno Attack and rummy and checkers, ect..... Rent some scary movies and pop popcorn and order in a pizza and just be together! Invite your mom to a day of just you and her and she will be totally thrilled! Or if she is at work- straighten up the house for her and cook her dinner when she gets home! She will adore u for it! Otherwise- go to the mall- hang with friends-video games-computer-read???

You have only a couple of choices in todays world. You can stay in your Mom's basement and play video games and wonder what it is like to have a life, or you could go volunteer at some church, soup kitchen or charity to help make the holiday a little better for someone else. My guess, you will be in Mom's basement wondering why you are so bored.

Read your Bible in the morning, play with your siblings in the after noon, wash the dishes after a supper, and hang out with your friends one day of the week, sleep all day Saturday, go to church on Sunday, wear your feet out Christmas shopping, and cram the last day before you go back to school. Then you've covered all the bases! Merry Christmas!

Hey Pocker, I have an idea that might help you decide what to do.
Write letters to your love ones or even send letters to people you don't know. I t might bring a little happiness to their hearts in this special Season and it will get you into the Christmas Spirit too. Try it !!!!

READ.
Find a book or two at your local library that you might be interested in, whether for pleasure or knowledge, and READ.
