The problem is that no party has a viable candidate in their camp right now.
Obama, though intelligent, lacks the experience to be president.
The Dem's are struggling to find someone that the Nation would rally behind.
But, the Re pub's are not in any better shape. There is no one on that side of the isle that has danced in the spot light enough to carry the torch.
Its scary, really.

1. He's not an attractive candidate to me ( and never will be)
2. It's the same deal as anything else that's made popular by the media...if they think it's art, music, good theater that's what the public see's on tv. Don't be fooled. I bet most of American's don't think much of this guy.

No, Barack Obama is attractive to some because he says what everyone wants to hear. Maybe he will vote that way also, time will tell. For the moment he is the media darling, and certainly knows how to handle himself well. He needs experience and a voting record... on TOUGH issues, not just easy and social issues.

The man is one of the people, he is us! He is NOT,skull and bones,IVY league,or pompus nuovoe rich!He has no colour, but people of colour can relate to him because one of his parents were black.I am a 48 year old white man and I would have no problem voting for this guy at all!If you close your eyes when you listen to him,you can tell he is talking to all of the people, not just to the rich,or the stupid,or the blacks,or to the predigests of all different races-the man is for real!

He is a viable (as opposed to attractive) candidate, because he listens to the people and he has new and interesting ideas as opposed to being locked into the same old rhetoric.

that's not a good thing. Obama lacks experience and is a push over. He holds his current office by default. The same can be said about Hillary. Had Kennedy's plane not crashed, he would have defeated Hillary.

He's black and he can talk. He has no substance but apparently that is not needed with the weak minded morons that think he is a viable candidate?
