1 more than the number cubed

1^3+1=2
2^3+1=9
3^3+1=28
etc

next is 7^3+1=344

here is a little explanation. The connection to the numbers is somewhat like a deravitve. First column below is the numbers give sectond column is the difference is each pair of numbers. Third column is the difference in the differences. The pattern becomes obvious here. it is multiples of 6 then work backwatds to get 344
