Personally, I’ll definitely do certain acts here:

# FIRE Prof. Binns! He may stay as Hogwarts Ghost but not as History of Magic teacher anymore! To replace his position, I’ll call Gilderoy Lockheart to teach History of Magic. Gilderoy is totally fraud at Defense Against the Dark Arts, but still he’s a great story-teller! I believe if he’s given chance here, History of Magic will transform from the most boring class ever into the most entertaining class ever at Hogwarts!

# SHUT down Sybill Trelawney’s Divination Class! Too many rubbish there, but still few students favor it. In this case, Divination could still be taught, but only in form of short course (like Apparition) or club (like Dueling Club or Dumbledore’s Army).

# HAVE Hagrid to do some training as Care of Magical Creatures teacher (with Professor Grubbly-Plank for example) to avoid another Malfoy incident! Hagrid does have the knowledge but he’s totally inexperienced in teaching. Still, he has the potential to be a great Professor, that’s why I insist him to do some teaching training with Grubbly-Plank.

# REHIRE Lupin as DADA teacher! I must SURELY explain and socialize the whole Lupin’s situation toward everyone in Hogwarts and all students’ parent. There’s going to be a lot of paper works here! I want to give Lupin another chance since he’s the best DADA teacher Hogwarts ever had. Of course, Lupin is required to drink Wolfsbane Potion and everyone must remind him about this so that he will NOT forget to take that potion before the Full-Moon.

# OPEN additional class specifically about Dark Arts! I’d recommend this to everyone who wants to deepen their knowledge beyond DADA. I believe we should also learn about the Dark Arts, Defense only is not enough! But since “some” people have severe prejudice about it, I will not open it as new class, just a bit supplement to the DADA class… and it’s all just optional. Not a must for student to take it, but I highly recommend it!

# ASK all the Quidditch player from each House to form the Hogwarts Quidditch Dream Team! In that case, every house can finally work together as team! I’ll also ask the other schools like Beaubaxton, Durmstrang, and Salem to arrange some friendly Quidditch match against Hogwarts every month or two. In that case, everyone from Hogwarts will stop being divided and start being united! Not four houses but one school! It will cease Houses Rivalries to some degrees at least….

# ASK the one who teach Muggle Studies to introduce the students about popular Muggles Games (Soccer for example) and if students are interested, I’ll also ask the teacher to open Hogwarts Soccer Club. The real purpose is also quite the same as forming the Quidditch Dream Team: to cease Houses Rivalries!

# OPEN several new classes and courses/clubs in Hogwarts:
HERALDRY  Branch of Magic in which studying mystique symbol and tattoos on the Human Body. According to my own research and experience, these stuffs are very powerful- they boost the magical power of person who has it! Yet, only very few have ever studied it. This class must be opened at Hogwarts!

2006-12-21 02:17:33 · update #3

ELEMENTAL POWER  Let one to specialize one’s magic in certain element (for example: water, fire). This stuff also useful since once one has mastered this power, one can use cast one’s own element to assault the enemies or defend oneself. This technique will certainly come in handy since elemental power does NOT need wand to cast it! (Remember Remus Lupin and his handful of fire in the Battle of Hogwarts? This class must be opened at once!)

MAGIC OF SINGING  Dumbledore once said, “A magic beyond all we do here!” It’s really true! There are people who have talents in singing and they do have power in their very own voice! My research shows that we can develop this power even more. Some wizards and witches are able to heal wound by singing (Severus Snape seems to be able to do so!). In advances, people can use their voice to heal wound, to curse, or even to deflect the Unforgivable Curse. Several cases show that Imperius Curse can be blocked by singing! And more than that, we can sing without wand! However, I still have doubt whether I should open Magic of Singing as a new class or just club….
WANDLESS MAGIC  These could be taught as additional courses besides the formal classes. Here, students can shape and train their magical talent, especially from Charms and DADA classes without wand. The earlier they learn the better since lots of my new classes require NO wand to study it!

# LEGALIZE Dumbledore’s Army and merge it with Dueling Club! That’s kinda positive activities outside class so I highly encourage it! Besides, when something’s terrible occurring like Battle of Hogwarts, I can mobilize them to defend Hogwarts at all cost! Also, I require anyone in this club to learn and master the Legilimency and Occlumency. These branches of magic are really priceless to excel in! In this case, DA is not only studying to defend physically, but also mentally! In advance, they also must master nonverbal spells! The reason is just like Severus said: “…those who progress in using magic without shouting incantations gain an element of surprise in their spell-casting…”, in which quite helpful in the battle or matter of life or death….

All right, what do you think about my vision here? What about yours then? What would you do as the principal of Hogwarts?

Oh, I forgot about this:

# ORDER one or two House-Elf to tail Severus Snape. I want to know where he's going, who he's meeting, and what he's doing. I want them to follow Snape around the clock. And they're forbidden to tip him off, or to show him what they’re up to, or to talk to him at all, or to write him messages or ... to contact him in any way. I'll want regular reports, but make sure I'm not surrounded by people when the Elves turn up. And they are NOT to tell anyone what they're doing. Just stick to Snape like a couple of wart plasters.
Got it? LOL!!

I really enjoyed the Harry Potter books and I even have all the movies.

But, Seriously. DUDE? You have put entirely too much thought into this. It's bordering on obsessive.

Cave

p.s. Hottie! You know EVERYTHING, but can't even spell McGonagall? Am I in some weird, alternate universe here?

If I were Headmistress of Hogwarts I would definitely fire Professor Binns too! History of Magic is an important class and it would be taught by a teacher that wouldn't bore the students into sleeping through it. However amusing Gilderoy Lockhart can be, he is a dangerous wizard that belongs in Azkaban for what he has done to many better wizards than himself (taking credit for what they'd done and obliviating their memories). He has no business around impressionable students, as he obviously has no morals or ethics.

I would minimize Professor Trelawney's Divination class (long enough to introduce students to various methods) and perhaps have Firenze use the rest of the year to teach during that period. It would protect Trelawney's pride, give her a job that would allow her to maintain a place at Howarts and

I would definitely shut down Trelawneys class. Now that she is having to share the class she has become even odder. I would of course let her continue to live at the school to keep Lord Voldemort from getting her. For reasons why is in book Six. I would definitely rethink why I have Severus Snape teaching at the school. Then I would have Draco Malfoy secretly folowed by some of the house elves so that I can find a reason to expell him. I believe that he is not going to be there much longer anyway, so I would rather have him gone sooner than later.

Ok, i know this is only a nice tale (albeit long) but ¿Isn't it obvious?

You should get Hoghwarts out of the XVI century.

¿Do you imagine what Hermiony could do with as little as a PDA and some Googling of the magicl nowledge?, She would rule!

Also, against most of the worst magical menaces, some tech may be a much simple solution, paying in gold price would not be so steep, anyhow, muggles are involved in the conflict either they want it or not.

In fact, it takes a lot of suspension of disbelief not to see that Harry is making some pretty big mistakes by not taking advantage of modern day technology in his fight against the dark arts, if you are risking your life, you can take the gloves off and carry at least a gun, i Know, it is dirty, vile, unromantic and brake the mood, but it is clearly necessary for him to "get serious".

interior the 6th e book first financial disaster, the previous minister of magic replaced into replaced via a clean fiercer finding Minister named Rufus Scrimguer. Later interior the e book he tries to control Harry into making public appearances for him, as potential for his magical war propaganda. it must be that Rufus is being controlled/manipulated via Voldemort? I digress, if Voldemort in no way went Borgin & Burkes then it may be risk-free to assume that if he replaced into interior the ministry, he might have often happening the secret to destroying Harry Potter lots in the past, and he might have got here upon yet in any different case to kill him without dropping his potential. Albus Dumbledore might have actually fought with Voldemort for a protracted time yet all in ineffective. Dumbledore might have maximum possibly in no way discovered in regards to the Horcruxes, except on a off possibility from Slughorn, or maybe then the two could have been snuffed out in the past any real injury must be performed. IN end there does not be a Harry Potter sequence for sake of brand call, he may be ineffective. If there were a collection, it possibly may be the mystical equivalent of 1984.

I like your idea about Muggle Studies. I also think certain students would benefit not only from taking that class, but by having it taught by an actual MUGGLE. (I can see Salazar Slytherin turning in his grave as I type). Now, in defense of Hagrid, he did insturct the class on how to treat Buckbeak and even told Malfoy that he was not doing it right. (Malfoy's behavior caused him to get injured)

I would have a class on "How Not To Be Seen", so those of a magical ability can mindgle with regualr folks and not look so obvious.

Harry SHOULD be the headmaster of Hogwarts not Magonigal or how ever you spell her name! You know I don't think that you read the Harry Potter books... I think that you just skim and scan! Read them front to back and you will have some of your questions or whatever answered. I know everything about the Harry Potter books... ask me anything! Go ahead... try me!
