Yes! Use the aimstick pregnancy tests. They are also cheap to buy. They're the same ones they use at the hospital. They are very accurate. The only drawback is that you have to pee in a cup, but big deal. Good luck!

What you want to look for is the level of hcg that the test can detect. A good early one is First Response Early Result. It measures as little as 25 units of hcg in your urine. Note that the dollar tree test measures the same amount and I found it to be equally accurate to FR.
There are some tests that measure as little as 10 units, but at that stage, it is hard to get an early reading.
Note that in a healthy early pregnancy, the hcg in your system doubles every two days or so, so if you get a negative result, it's reasonable to wait two days and try again.
If you know what day you ovulated, you an figure it's safe to start testing ten days later. If you don't know when you ovulated, start testing about 4 days before your period is due.
Of course, if you wait until your period is at least a day late, you're much more likely to get the positive (if you're pregnant) because by then, the hcg is almost certainly concentrated enough in your system to show up on an early test.
The digital tests are easier to read but they're not as sensitive (usually 50 units) so they're not as accurate early.
Also, remember that hcg is most concentrated in your urine first thing in the morning so that's when you should test. In rare cases, some people just don't metabolize the hcg (so it doesn't show up in their urine) but that isn't usually the case.
Good luck!

I don't recommend using the First Response that claims to pick up the hormone 5 days early, because they can show false negatives, and do a lot of the time. They don't claim to be 99% accurate that early anyway. I would suggest, unfortunately, waiting until you are a day late. And, believe it or not, the Dollar Tree pregnancy tests work great...they are very sensitive. They have worked for everyone that I know, and they are only $1.00!
Good luck!

They only work for 60% of women. Which means that even if you are pregnant and the hormone is present, the test most likely wont be able to detect it until the levels are higher.
EPT is what you're looking for.
Its better to wait until you're late, then theyre 99.9% effective.
