as a 13 year- old i would hate to get any kind of dolls or barbies or any thing like that, definetly go for the gift cards, or tell her that you will take her for a day of shopping and lunch, that way not only does she get a new shirt, but a memory that will last a lifetime.

At that age they are becoming more woman like, possibly make-up, a bratz doll, Cd's, ipods, leggings, jewelry {doesn't have to be real or expensive}, and maybe even a good book.....Also maybe "With Love" the new Hilary Duff perfume...its all the rage for young girls in our town. Hope i helped!

If you are to ask me, there are many things that a 12 year old girl will appreciate. First, since shes in her adolescence period, why not give her clothings or footwear. Second, you can give her fragrances or trinket. Lastly, if you're on a budget, give her a cellphone.

Get her one of those little kid things like a Bratz doll or stuff like that. Don't get her anything that's for the older crowd, you wouldn't want her trying to emulate them and throw away her childhood.
