Some things you can use

Kitty Litter
Laundry detergent (powder form)

As suggested above.....don't use gasoline on the spill this is actually a worse solvent than oil and will breakdown your concrete & asphalt driveway's.

I actually worked as a porter at a car dealership once and have had experiences in floor and driveway clean-up. Best thing to do is use a clay-type (oil-dry) absorbent to remove oil spills, first, then let it sit until it turns the color of the oil. Next, use something to rub it into the spots. Secondly, use a powder laundry detergent to remove any spots in the driveway. This usually works really good, if you still have spots, you may try using muratic acid, very caustic and dangerous, don't breathe the fumes. Hop this helps.

Go to your auto parts store and get something like Ulttrasorb (Made by Motlan) - which you sprinkle on oil or grease spills. It absorbs it all, if you leave it there a few days. Then just sweep it up. There are numerous products specifically for this application -and they all do a great job, and are cheap.
