Wash your forehead with a face wash for oily skin like Clean and Clear a couple of times a day, in addition to your regular cleansing routine. When going out, apply compact powder on your forehead and nose, and always carry the compact with you so you can re-apply when your forehead and nose start shining. Scrub your nose with a face scrub daily to keep the oil at bay and to prevent blackheads from forming.

Toning lotion is a must: by tightening pores it keeps dirt out and allows your face to regain its velvety smoothness. Keep your skin very clean. Limit washing your face to two or three times a day. To cleanse oily skin, use oil-based products as they dissolve serum effectively. Opt for oil-free moisturizers to maintain a shine-free complexion.
A little home remedy:
1. Keep a bowl of water in the fridge and splash this cold water on your face 3-4 times a day.Cold water will not only leave you feeling refreshed but will also tighten the pores.
2. Follow up the cleanser with an astringent as this will remove all excess oil
3. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water each day.Water helps flush out toxins from the body.
4. Use an exfoliant twice a week. These skin scrub products contains little granules that, when used with a small brush, provide deep cleansing.

I wrote about this before, so feel free to check out my answer about a fantastic way to bannish oily skin. The reason this occurs is not enough moisture in the skin, and the body overcompensates with producing oil when there's not enough water in the skin. The best thing to do is to follow this for two weeks. Buy a good moisturizer--I use Neutrogena's healthy skin with Alpha Hydroxy and sunscreen. Drink only water and lots of it. Don't use drying soaps on your face, but moisturizing soaps. Your face will regulate itself, and you will no longer have oily skin. It will be soft and translucent. Also, a good clay mask ---DDR makes a good one with sulfur. It's about 35 dollars, but you will not have a zit, nor oily skin when you use this thing even just once.

I had the same problem. In fact, my skin was so oily that no makeup lasted on it. The problem is because of imbalance. That said, you need to have a good skincare regimine. I do not like Mary Kay salespeople, but I love their Timewise Moisturizer and night solution for oily skin. They have done wonders for me. I also use Everyday Minerals as foundation. Try everydayminerals.com. Ask for a sample of their Intensive formula. The company sends samples for free. This helps a lot in maintaining the balance of your skin-

Proactiv has an Daily Oil Control Lotion that goes along with their line. I have horribly oily skin and have been using it for 3 months. I love it. And I have tried EVERYTHING from over the counter to home remidies. It is a little costly and in alot of places you have to buy it online or over the phone... but I recently found a store in the mall that sells it so if you can check your local mall.

Let me tell you that nose is the place of excretion of waste oil in the body.Your forehead sweats so the waste materials excreted throughout skin is definetely going to be oily & sticky. For these at regular free periods in day wash your face properly with good quality soap.Moisture in the air is also responsible for more oilyness. So avoid Humid climate as much as you can.
Understand this fundamental of mine and you wont need any lotion, suncream, etc. which is meant for fooling people.

Ok, first of all, you need to start with a good skincare for oily skin. Here are some options:
Cleansers-

Toner-

Mask-
(only use a mask 1 or 2 times a week)

Once you have a good skin care system, you need to cleanse, tone, and moisturize 2 times a day; once in the morning, and once at night. This is crucial to keeping your oil under control.
Then there are other supplementary products you can get to help control your oil while your out and about, or for spots that flare up:

If you use these things regularly, you should be able to have beautiful skin that looks oil-free! I hope this helps!

The oilyness is caused by hormones so you can only treat this topically.
Firstly, use cleansing pads, such as DDF Glycolic 5% Daily Cleansing Pads, at least 3 times per day.
At night, after cleansing, apply Neutrogena face lotion with alpha-hydroxy acid(http://www.neutrogena.com/ProductsPopUp_38.asp?ShowAddBttn=undefined) It might burn a little but it really works.

Mine too. Here is what i do and it works!! Go to your local wal-mart and buy some asstringent, clean and clear is the best. I just wash my face with warm water and a wash cloth, then using a cotton ball, wipe your whole face down with asstringent. Then, i would use some facial lotion, i found that the best facial lotion is st. ives coligan elastin. Do this every morning, when you get out of the shower and every night before bed.
