Unfortunatley,..yes! Many of us "humans" often misinterpret many different situations. Of course, it's only human nature. If we took the time to understand the situation other than jumping to conclusions of what we think is going to happen, then the world would be just that much better of a place to live.

It's very disturbing to be the victim of presumptuous conclusions. I feel resentful, indignant and downright feisty when someone assumes too much because of not simply listening to the noise coming out of my mouth. How can you converse with someone of that mentality? That really puts me to the test (to maintain composure) . . . grrrr.
Consequently, I try to be a good listener, accepting correction and issuing apology when needed if I jump to one of them thar conclusions myself (sometimes it's the only exercise I get).

I dont jump, I more sort of slide slowly downhill and If I get my head around it I usually come to the right conclusion
