Unless you buy the expensive stuff, there are two ways to clean a ceramic stove top. 1. Always, constantly wipe it off. Everytime you use it, while you are using it........2.Mr. Clean miracle sponge or whatever it is called. Works great.

I use those brushes with scrubber top sponges. You know the kind that you can put dishwashing soap in the handle.
I tried pretty much all the cream ceramic top cleansers. I've found that if I use the scrubber first with lots of water and then use the Mr. Clean Magic erasers, the top looks like new... and I've had mine for 6 years now and it looks as good as the day I bought it...

I've found something that's far superior to anything else I've tried or seen suggested here. It's called Barkeepers Friend®. It comes as a powder in a can that allows you to sprinkle it on the cooktop dry, then using a sponge or paper towels and some water you make it slightly pasty and rub. This will clean the cooktop extremely well and get rid of old stains.

Yes.. I have no problems whatsoever.. I use that razor blade scrapper.. The top should be (though not absolutely necessary)warm and then use the scrapper(razor blade scrapper).. then I buy at Target/Home Depot/Walmart's, that bottle of ceramic stove top cleaner and it works like a charm...

Those eraser sponges are the best for that type of job. They take away all the stains. Buy at your local grocery store or Target.
