Leaving hubs locked in won't damage the transfer case, but if you drive regularly with them locked in, you will cause uneven wear on the tires, risk throwing your front end out of alignment, and dramatically hurt your MPG on gas. Frankly, unless you are in an area that gets a LOT of snow, I'd leave them un- locked. If you anticipate snow, lock them in the day before. That way you aren't locking hubs in the snow. Hope this info helped.

the fee of the wheel turns front to back are no longer somewhat the comparable and leaving your hubs locked reasons placed on on the flow case. this is concept once you have interaction the four wheel tension, you would be on a slippery floor like airborne dirt and mud, snow, and so on. so the slip mandatory is assured. in case you tension around on pavement for long classes of time, there is not any longer very plenty slip accessible, so which you get the placed on and tear.

It'll be ok, however increased wear on the front axle, increased tire wear, decreased fuel economy, harder steering, are all effects of locked hubs.

He's right. However, you may experienced an increased rate in your tire wear. But you won't do any damage to your transfer case. It is in neutral until you decide to use it.
