I have a 2004 Tahoe and the doors automatically lock when put in gear,are they suppose to unlock automatically when put in park.Cause mine don't

How am I suppose to go about making them unlock on exit?

No. You have to unlock them yourself. But the front doors should unlock when you pull the handle to get out.

Check your manual. I think you can either set that function yourself if you have the information center controls on the steering wheel. If you don't, your dealer should be able to change that for you.

my chevy does the same thing. when i turn the car off the doors unlock.

this may be an option you can turn on and off if you want,my chev has that feature and i have it turned on,check the manual or ask at a dealer,they can tell you if you can and may give you the instructions

no,not automaticly, you need to deactivate the unlock solenoid
