I'm sure you can call that when it first started.
But now it's more like a one way battle.
They can't say that they're still defending, can they?
The news only shows how many soldiers in this country is being killed but it never shows how many civillians in Iraq died.
Compared to the soldiers lost in this country, there are greater amount of civillians and soldiers of Iraq that died.
They're trying to justify their actions by hiding the truth.

#1- You are only getting the news media 'slant' on what is happening here in Iraq

#2- The 'numbers' you are searching for is reported and is being kept track of.

#3- The death toll caused by local killing local is far higher than you might think since they are doing 90% of the killing right now.


Our numbers (and I REALLY HATE reducing it to that since some of my friends are what YOU have reduced to a number) are light in comparison with any other conflict of this magnitude.

I think it's completely ridiculous. But then again, the leaders of America have been doing crap like this since the end of the revolution. Too bad there was no way to stop this before they went in looking for "weapons of mass destruction". Yeah right.
