I was thinking along the lines of "for the greater glory of God" if the name was foreign and had a meaning. I want a name that means either what I stated above or
thanksgiving
cherished one
joyful
or something close.
Thank you.

Sorry, miscarriage. Please no sarcasim. The wound is fresh and doesn't need to be dug deeper.

Alot of you have asked what gender the baby was. We don't know, besides being too young we never find out until the baby is born. And naming the baby is always something "WE" do together for the person who seems to think he knows everything. (sorry to break the news to you buddy but you don't).

"Seeitmiway32" how dare you call my brother or sister a "fetus"! He/she was (and still is in my opinion) a real human being. My family and everyone we know names their babies. Whether they live or not. I'm guessing you beleive in abortion. All I can say is "I'll pray for you."

I'm so sorry to hear about your mother's loss and I can't believe all of the rude JERKS on here calling it just a fetus .. to me as soon as the sperm hit the egg it is a BABY whether your 2 weeks along or 9months your pregnant with a baby not a fetus... my mom had a baby before me that was way too premature to make it and died a few hours after being born and the hospital would not let her have the baby's body so she could have a proper funeral and barry it and they would not let her because they said it was too young to be considered a baby it was a fetus! but they gave him a name and had a tombstone made for him and everything.. No matter how far along you are you still suffer a great loss in loseing a child ... you spend your pregnancy planning and getting ready for the bundle of joy and then all of a sudden it's like there is a huge black hole .. I really can not believe how insenstive people can be .. I am so sorry ..... a few names that come to mind are : Hope , Angel , precious , Joy and my favorite name Grace. I hope that helps and again I truly am sorry about your mother's loss and the loss to your whole family .. god bless you and I hope that you can at least have somewhat of a merry christmas. I will pray for you and your family..

I just wanted to say that it is very admirable of you to stand up for your baby brother/sister and your family. I too believe that a baby is a human from the moment of conception. I'm 17 weeks pregnant and I can't imagine my life without my child, even though I haven't seen him/her yet, this baby is very much already a part of my family. God bless you and your family, your little Angel is having a perfect christmas.
P.S. I like the name Angel, it seems very fitting and can be used for a girl or a boy.

Im trying to think of all the names out of the bible. I am very sorry to hear about your mother's lost. I would name my baby no matter since I was given a chance to carry it until God decided that he or she was more needed up there with him. At least you all can think that that he is going home with with God and you all will see him or her sooner or later. :)
