I live in Central Florida and the current going rate for all science and mathematics Assistant / Junior Professors in the area starts at around 60K and goes up from there depending the the school. Obviously, most private schools offer a higher salary than public universities due to available funding for teachers. I've also noticed in my area that the 4-year universities offer an average of 10-15K more than do 2-year / community colleges.

I am currently not working, but at my last teaching job, I was making right around 74K.

Hope this helps!

2 year schools often start at around 45 k, unless they are in an urban area. Then they start around 55 k.

4 year schools usually start at anywhere between 50 and 60k, depending on many factors: public v. private, urban v. rural, etc.

This assumes the candidate has finished the PhD, or will be finishing within the year.
