I'm doing some research but just thought I'd ask on here, too. I am thinking of going back to school and taking art and creative writing classes, but I'm curious as to what jobs in this field that there will be after I graduate. I don't mean to sound like I'm bragging at all, but I can draw well (when I was a kid I wanted to illusrate comic books like X-Men) and I love anything to do with theater or movie making. Also, I love to write. Romance and some serious stuff, too. Any help?

the job market for any of these things is miniscule, tiny, microscopic. the few jobs that exist are often filled by people who have been referred, so unless you are prepared to network like nuts, kiss a** with the very best of them, throw your competition under a bus while stepping on people's faces to climb the ladder and self-promote yourself 24/7, i think you ought to seriously consider a permanent day-job. sorry to be so negative, but that's the facts, ma'am.

Me too! I've always wanted to be a comics artist and draw for the X-men series!!
I think the job market depends mostly on which country you are in. For example, in my country, there is a pretty small market for it, because being an art student means you are either "dumb" and can't study or you will be relegated to being a 'starving artist'
If you want you should try for it but try to do a course which combines writing and art. Or where ever you're interests lie .
Good luck
